Iktus Percussion joins Loadbang to present an all-Xenakis concert of epic proportions at the AC Institute in Chelsea, NY on Friday, April 27th, 8pm!
The program will include some of Xenakis' finest solo and chamber works, including:
Kottos (for solo cello), Mariel Roberts
Keren (for solo trombone), William Lang
Psappha (for solo percussion), Steve Sehman
Kassandra (for baritone & percussion), Jeffrey Gavett & Chris Graham
and
Khal Perr (for brass quintet & percussion)
Atrees (for 10 players)
featuring: Francis Liu, Carlos Cordiero, Roberta Michel, Tim Leopold, Dan Peck, David Byrd-Marrow, Fred Trumpy, Adam Forman, Joe Fee, and conductor Yoshi Onishi

Iktus Percussion joins musicians and actors alike at UVM, including the trombone quartet (and fellow New Yorkers) The Guidonian Hand. Works will include Steve Reich's classic Music for Pieces of Wood, Julia Wolfe's Dark Full Ride (part I), and Reuse, Recycle, Reduce, a piece written for Iktus in 2009 by Dominic Donato.

Iktus Percussion will be joined by Elevator Rose and special guests Owen Weaver, Nathan Koci and Lisa Dowling on November 4th at Cafe Orwell in Brooklyn!
The evening will feature an exciting and eclectic mix of original compositions and repertoire favorites, including an all-star rendition of the Philip Glass classic "Music In Similar Motion".
